Raphael Robert Roeder

Raphael Robert Roeder, 94, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, died March 28, 2015 in Bella Vista. He was born October 2, 1920 in Seneca, Kansas to August A. Roeder and Josephine M. Hugo Roeder. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Optimist Club in Lyons, Kan., the V.F.W. and the American Legion. He was Post commander in El Dorado, Kan. for VFW. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Roeder to whom he married January 11, 1947 as well as a sister, Roseanna Srite. He is survived by several nieces and nephews; David Srite, Diana Gulick, Pat Buchta, Mike Srite, and Gwenolyn Schoolgraft. A committal service will be held on April 9, 2015 at 11 am at the Fayetteville V.A. National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
