Mary L. Barnes

Mary L. Barnes, 70, a lifetime resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Sept. 17, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Dec. 10, 1943, in Prairie Grove, the daughter of Noah B. and Flora Leoma Phillips Bradley. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Charles Barnes. Survivors include two sons, Dion Barnes and his wife, Wendy, and Joe Barnes and his wife, Elisha, all of Prairie Grove, Ark.; four grandchildren, Jenifer, Jessika, Tyesha and Noah Barnes; one great-granddaughter, Remington Barnes-Austin; one brother, Gerald Bradley and his wife, Dorothy, two sisters, Bula Shepherd and her husband, Guy, and Janie Disney and her husband, Randy, all of Prairie Grove; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, 4 p.m. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery; there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
