Raymond John Flach

Raymond John Flach, 74, of Rogers passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, with his family by his side from complications related to Parkinson's disease. He was born Aug. 9, 1940, to the late Julius and Anna Flach in Elizabeth, N.J. Following high school graduation in Fort Lauderdale he spent four years learning the electrical trade and after graduating his training he began his lifelong career as a member, executive and supporter of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 728. A devout Catholic, he regularly attended at both St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers and St. Stephen Catholic Church in Bentonville. He is survived by his wife of more than 54 years, Dottie. After living for over 50 years in Florida, Ray and Dottie moved to Rogers to enjoy their retirement and to spend more time with family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rudy Flach. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Bruce Flach of Michigan, and Brian and his wife, Melyssa St. Michael, of Bentonville; a sister, Janet Geores of Florida; and two grandsons, Bruce Flach II, and Anthony and wife, April Flach, of Michigan. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Rogers, with inurnment at St. Stephen Columbarium in Bentonville later that day.
