Mary Frances Rapoza

Mary Frances Rapoza, 77, of Rogers passed away Sept. 7, 2014, in Springdale. She was born July 22, 1937, in Pico-Rivera, Calif., the daughter of Clarence and Ethel Bolton Martin. She owned and operated K&M Cleaning Service; she was a former secretary for Cal-Poly University and Sears, both in Los Angles. She was a model for Caroline Leonetti Modeling School. Mary was an avid sports car driver, and enjoyed spending time with her family and water skiing on the Colorado River. She is survived by her son, Marty Shepherd of Rogers; two sisters, Margaret Pratt of Fayetteville and Joyce Larson of Springdale; three grandchildren, Mika Shepherd, Tori Marroquin and Lindy Weitz; and two great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be noon Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Family and friends may gather for lunch at 2 p.m. at Corona in Prairie Creek.
