Wanda Lee Mullins ("Sis") passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, in Springdale, Ark., at the age of 87. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Vicki Faye Guyll; son, Johnny Lee Barker; granddaughter, Shannon Wetzel; grandson, Matthew Barker; and two great-grandsons, Grayson Gregrich and Austen Wetzel. She is preceded in death by her husband, James A. Mullins (Popper Jim); her mother, Elma Oxford; her father, Otis Oxford; two brothers, Odell and Leon Oxford; and a sister, Margaret Oxford. Wanda was the last living member of her immediate family. Wanda was born on Nov. 21, 1926, in Russellville, Ark., to Otis and Elma Oxford. She was a homemaker, a singer, having cut a record and signing at Jamboree's, she loved music and dance and making people laugh. She was a wonderful cook. She loved all her grandchildren and loved telling stories about them to friends. Her immediate family is planning a small intimate ceremony to celebrate her life. It was Wanda's wish to be cremated and she will be placed next to her husband in a plot next to his gravesite.
