Joseph B. (Joe) Hingle

Joseph B. (Joe) Hingle, 69, of Gravette, Ark., passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at the V.A. Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born on Nov. 19, 1944, in Harrison, Ark., to John and Bertha Hingle. Joe was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Donivan Church in Gravette, Ark., and also a member of the Tired Iron Club of the Ozarks in Gentry, Ark. He was a chicken and cattle farmer, and also loved spending time at the auction. He was a Good Samaritan. Joe was preceded in death by his parents John B. and Bertha Lee Hingle, his sister Phyllis Kehr, and his brother John Lee Hingle. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cindy Hingle of Gravette, Ark.; three sons, Jody Hingle of Bella Vista, Ark., David Hubbard of Bentonville, Ark., and Shelby (Dusty) Hubbard and wife Lorie of Pea Ridge, Ark.; one daughter, Lisa Amos of Gravette, Ark.; one brother, Bill Hingle of Sulphur Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as his Hiwasse and Gravette friends. A visitation for Joe will be held Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held the following day, Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 2 p.m. and will also be held at the Bella Vista Funeral Home. Internment will take place at the Daniel Cemetery on Mount Pleasant Road in Gravette, Ark. Memorial contributions may be made to your local V.F.W.
