Sherry Dee Galloway Hollingsworth

Sherry Dee Hollingsworth, age 64, of Springdale passed away Oct. 29, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice House after a battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 12, 1950, the fourth child of Harold and Daisy Galloway. She graduated from Springdale High School in 1967 and was a materials manager for Northwest Medical Center for 26-and-a-half years. She loved her job and all of her co-workers. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed her family and working in her flowers. She loved her dogs, Maxx and Jake. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Galloway; and brother, Glen T. Galloway. Sherry is survived by her husband, Brad Hollingsworth, whom she married in 1973, of the home; her mother, Daisy Couch of Springdale; one son, K.C. Hollingsworth and his wife, Alana, of West Fork; one daughter, Kathy Hollingsworth of Rogers; two brothers, Randall Galloway and his wife, Loretta, of Springdale, and Dennis Galloway and his wife, Lucy, of Corpus Christi, Texas; one sister, Patti Wohlford and her husband, Jim, of Springdale; one sister-in-law, Beverly Galloway of Springdale; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Sonora Cemetery, with the Rev. Arthur Lee Galloway officiating, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
