Sam Shepard

Sam Shepard, 58, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born Sept. 3, 1956, to Donald and Evelyn Shepard in Green River, Wyo. He worked at Wal-Mart over 30 years. Previously he had worked at Phillips Grocery and Food-For-Less prior to going to Wal-Mart as grocery receiving. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, working on cars, collecting coins, going to the casino and time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Sam is survived by one daughter, Susan Sixkiller and her husband, Jerry, of Rogers; one son, Jimmie Shepard of Rogers; his significant other, Ginny Gardner of Bentonville; one brother, Roy Wayne Shepard of Wyoming; one sister, Jean Laughter of Green River, Wyo.; two grandsons, Kenneth Andrew Shepard and James Dakota Logan; and one granddaughter, Erica Marie Logan.
