Bobby "Bob" Gene Jarnagan, 80, of Fayetteville died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 25, 1933, in Durham, Ark., to Troy and Ruth Jarnagan. He was a retired ABF truck driver; a gunsmith; a proud member of the Teamsters Union; and an honorary deputy sheriff with Washington County. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jarnagan. Survived by his wife, Lora Adella Jarnagan; son, Steve Jarnagan and wife Denise, of Rogers; daughters, Sharon Jarnagan of Fayetteville, Dondi Jarnagan of West Fork and Susan Hannan and husband, Patrick of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Lerryn Hauser, Brittany Jones, Brandon Jarnagan, Katie Garrett, Emily Blakemore, Tyler Woods, Jacob Hannan, Nicholas Hannan and Bethany Hannan; and nine great-grandchildren. He was always a father to children who needed a father. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Ridgeview Baptist Church with Pastors Charlie Brown and Al Gebauer officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the funeral home.
