Sandra Sharp Whitehouse

Sandra Sharp Whitehouse, 73, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Nov. 23, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 3, 1941, in Strickler, Ark., the daughter of Loyd and Georgia Norris Sharp. Sandy married Ray Whitehouse on July 1, 1960, in Prairie Grove. She worked at Farmers and Merchants Bank, now known as Arvest, for 34 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary Lou Yowell, Pat Finch and Maxine McClelland. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ray Whitehouse; two sons, Michael Whitehouse and his wife, Susan, of Springdale, Ark., Mitchell Whitehouse and wife, Cindy, of Prairie Grove; five grandchildren, Derek Whitehouse and his wife, Mallory, Mason Whitehouse and his wife, Allison, Melanie Whitehouse, Natalee Whitehouse and Ian Whitehouse; two step-grandchildren, Sarah Bratti and her husband, Larry, Caleb Dovell and his wife, Jessica; two step-great-grandsons, Trenton Bratti and Jax Bratti; one great-granddaughter, Lennon Whitehouse; a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 28, 2014 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove.
