William 'Bill' Eugene Shumate

William "Bill" Eugene Shumate, 62, of Springdale died on Nov. 17, 2014. He was born March 11, 1952, in Sacramento, Calif., to Eugene and Emma Lee Shumate. Bill was a long haul truck driver and loved traveling the roads with his dog, Jessie. Survivors include one son, James Shumate and wife, Michelle, of Springdale; two daughters, Shelley Richey and husband, Jerry, of Fayetteville, and Rebecca Lawson and husband, Jimmy, of Centerton; one sister, Patricia Reed and husband, Walt, of Farmington; eight grandchildren, Jake, Colton, Zackery, Joshua, Tristan, Faith, Katie and Macala. A visitation will take place at Sisco Funeral Chapel on Friday, Nov. 21, from 10 to 11 a.m. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at Cemetery Hill in Farmington, Ark.
