Howard Dale Meek

Howard Meek, 60, of Gravette, Ark., died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2014, at his home in Gravette. He was born on Feb. 7, 1954, in Pittsburgh, Calif., to Homer Dale Meek and Rowena Jean Smith Meek. He was president of Full Gospel Church board. He loved spending time with family and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Meek. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rhonda Meek of Gravette, Ark.; mother, Rowena Meek of Gravette, Ark.; daughter, Alanna King and husband, Roger Wayne, of Richlands, N.C.; son, Aaron Meek of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Amanda Trembly and husband, Kyle, of Gravette, Ark.; three brothers, Vernon Meek of Rogers, Ark., Mike Meek of Bella Vista, Ark., Steve Meek of Bella Vista, Ark.; and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at the Full Gospel Church, 612 S. Broadway St., Southwest City, Mo., with Pastor Richard Hart officiating. Burial will be at the Bethel Cemetery, Highway 59 South, outside of Gravette. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Full Gospel Church or Circle of Life Hospice.
