Gary Hiram Winslow

Gary Hiram Winslow, 59, passed away on Nov. 12, 2014, at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Nov. 11, 1955, in Portland, Maine, to Donald and Patricia Seger Winslow. Gary served in the U.S. Army achieving the rank of Corporal Specialist 4. He will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, son, father, grandfather and brother. Gary was preceded in death by his father, Donald Winslow; his brother, Bruce Winslow; and his daughter, Crystal Winslow. Gary is survived by his wife, Joyce Houston Winslow; his mother, Patricia Winslow; his daughter, Jessica Winslow of Longmont, Colo.; his son, Kelland Winslow of Pasadena, Calif.; his siblings, Dawn Morey, Donald Winslow, Linda Plumlee, Robyn Lunderby and Keith Winslow; two grandchildren, Skye Gibson and Carter Winslow; and his beloved pet, Miss Kitty. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. Burial with military honors will follow at noon at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
