Eldon Price Karr Jr., 75, of Bentonville, Ark., and formerly of Amarillo, Texas, passed away May 26, 2014, in Rogers. He was born Sept. 5, 1938, in Pagosa Springs, Colo., the son of Eldon Price Karr Sr. and Agnes Louise Judd Karr. He was a salesman for 30 years in the animal health care industry, he was also a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bentonville. Price also served in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Bertie Coberly Karr; his parents; his sister, Patricia Morgan; and one step-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Sims. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Crabb Sims Karr of the home; sons, Joe Karr of Wichita, Kan., Jeffrey Karr of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Jill Karr of Bella Vista; two stepchildren, Philip Sims of San Francisco, Calif., and Lori Hodges of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Bob Karr of Mt. Home, Ark., Benny Karr of Borger, Texas, and Mickey Karr of Pampa, Texas; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends whose lives he touched. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers, Ark. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors, 314 Hedgecoke, Borger, Texas. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, 2014, at the First Baptist Church in Stinnett, Texas. Interment will follow in the Stinnett Cemetery in Stinnett, Texas.
