Jeweldine Williams

Jeweldine Williams, 94, of Rogers, Ark., formerly of Gentry, Ark., died May 15, 2014, in Ashley Health and Rehab, Rogers, Ark. Born Oct. 2, 1919, in Maysville, Ark., she was the daughter of Alonzo Henry and Martha Ellen Wilkins Payne. She was a switchboard operator for Gravette Medical Center Hospital in Gravette, Ark. Jeweldine was a member of the Victory Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James White, Lester Kenneth Setser and Buster Williams; one son, Bobby Lee White; two brothers, Jim Payne and Buster Payne; sister, Zelma Payne Smith; and one great-great-grandson, Wyatt Hopkins. Survivors include sons, James Dale White and wife, Peggy, of Noel, Mo., Ken Setser of Decatur, Ark., and Lee Williams and wife, Sara, of Fort Smith, Ark.; daughters, Jeannie Goodwin and husband, Glen, of Decatur, Ark., Shirley Shook and husband, Donnie, of Gentry, Ark., Brenda Morriss and husband, Doug, of Mountainburg, Ark., and Mary Ross of Gravette, Ark.; 29 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Payne of Tulsa, Okla.; and sister, Molly Colbert of Lufkin, Texas. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2014, at Victory Missionary Baptist Church, Gentry, Ark., with Pastor Dennis Taylor officiating.
