Eldon Combs

Eldon Combs, 79, of Lowell passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, at his home. He was born March 25, 1935, in Lowell to Avery and Clara Ray Combs. Eldon was a retired truck driver for Jones Truck Lines. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Lowell and a Gideon. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Jim Sharp; one brother, Carl Combs; one sister, Margaret Rifenbark. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Joy Combs of the home; one daughter, Sharon Kirkendall and husband, Sam, of Branson; nephew, Mike Rifenbark of Ozark, Mo.; two grandchildren, Michele Jackson and husband, Beau, of Branson, Mo., and Tanner Kirkendall of Branson, Mo.; two great-grandchildren, Aubrie Jackson and Kirk Jackson. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Lowell, with the Rev. Gary Thomas and the Rev. Ben Rowell officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery.
