Gertrude Cotton

Gertrude Cotton, age 83, of Rogers, died March 28, 2014, at Ashley Health & Rehabilitation in Rogers. She was born in Bentonville on Oct. 28, 1930, to the late Manoah and Mary (Holding) Sweatman. She worked for many years in the kitchen at the Rogers Youth Center. Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Jones and husband Tom of Rogers, Patricia Danylchuk and husband William of Des Moines, Iowa; sons, Manuel and Jackie Cotton of Missouri; sisters Louise Shamley of Oregon, Agnes Voit of South Carolina; 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ted Cotton; son, Donnie Cotton; three brothers and two sisters. Burial is private, under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
