Vella 'Paige' Bolson

Vella "Paige" Bolson, 93, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, at the Shiloh Nursing and Rehab in Springdale. Paige was born on May 29, 1920, in Franklin, Ohio, a daughter of Otto and Clara Cutshaw. She was married to Walter Ritter; after his passing she became a great companion for Al Bolson and they married in 1989. They spent many good years together — fishing on Beaver Lake, traveling and enjoying retirement. Paige was a very easy going, compassionate person and could teach anyone how to organize a home. We will miss her sweet smile. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Walter Ritter; second husband, Al Bolson; and stepdaughter, Bonnie Ritter. Paige is survived by four stepchildren, Gloria Foss of Woodbury, Minn., Roger Bolson and wife, Ruth, of Bloomington Minn., Beverly Wahl of Lowell, Ark., and Ron Bolson and wife, Fran, of Stevensville, Mich.; 12 stepgrandchildren; and numerous stepgreat- and great-great-grandchildren.
