Gayle Marie Carver

Gayle Marie Carver, age 78, of Bella Vista, Ark., passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to parents Carl Ward Corley and Hazel Ruth (Nicholson) Corley. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cullman D. "Jack" Carver; and stepson, Jim Carver. She is survived by a son, Michael Skinner of Bella Vista, Ark.; stepdaughter, Cullene Clayton and husband, Jim, of Bella Vista, Ark.; brother, Jerry Corley and wife, Doranna, of Grand Prairie, Texas; brother, Larry Nicholson of Bethany, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2014, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Gary Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Fayetteville National Cemetery at 1 p.m. Visitation for Gayle will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2014, at the funeral home.
