Nancy A. Schmall Scharfenberg

Nancy A. Schmall Scharfenberg, 66, of West Fork passed away March 5, 2014. Born in Milwaukee, she graduated from University of Arkansas and earned her LPC license. Nancy enjoyed her work at Ozark Guidance in Springdale, first in recovery services and then outpatient adult. She was highly regarded by her peers and her clients felt soothed the moment they stepped into her office. At home she shone her loving spirit on her pets and enjoyed outdoor activities. Nancy is survived by her beloved husband, Ray Scharfenberg; brother, John Hlavac; and sister-in-law, Issie Hlavac. She was thankful to Chris for heartfelt support. There will be a wake/get-together on Saturday, March 15, from 1-5 p.m. at Comfort Inn in Fayetteville, just off of West Wedington. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name may be made to Fayetteville Animal Shelter.
