Hazel Jewell Hawkins

Hazel Jewell Hawkins, 78, of Springdale passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Jan. 6, 1936, in Mason Valley, Ark., to Julius and Clara Allen Davidson. Hazel was a retired housekeeper. She worked at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She liked crocheting and metal-detecting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Hawkins. Survivors include five sons, Curley Hawkins and wife, Sarah, of Springdale, Kenneth Hawkins and wife, Genet, of Elkins, Bobby Hawkins and wife, Sue, of Springdale, Troy Hawkins and wife, Teresa, of Huntsville, and Dale Hawkins and wife, Rachel, of Springdale; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
