Wilma Louise Haines Kerr

Wilma Louise Haines Kerr, 90 of Rogers, Ark., passed away July 24, 2014, in Waco, Texas. She was born Sept. 21, 1923, in Springfield, Ill., the daughter of Ira and Bessie Grieme Haines. She was an auxiliary member of the Rogers American Legion Post 100 and also a member of the Eastern Star in Rogers and in Waco. She is preceded in death by her husband Virgil; one daughter; eight brothers and sisters. Survived by three daughters, Judy Maedgen and husband Bob of Bruceville, Texas; Sharon Evans of Tonopah, Ariz., and Debra Tobias and husband Jerry of Lake Dallas, Texas; two brothers, John Haines of Chatham, Ill., and Robert Haines of Manhattan, Kan.; one sister, Edith Sausaman of Springfield, Ill.; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 to 10 with services at 10 in the chapel of the Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers.
