Weylon Royce Fuller

Weylon Royce Fuller, age 87, passed away in his home in Rogers on July 24, 2014. He was born in Fort Cobb, Okla., Sept. 3, 1926, to the late George Abner and Addie Mae (Rice) Fuller. Weylon served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was honorably discharged after serving three years in active duty and seven years in reserve. For 32 years, he worked for McCulloch as a chain saw machinist. In July of 1949, he married Bonnie Louise Payne, and they were married for 52 years at the time of her death in 2001. He faithfully attended Charity Baptist Church in Rogers. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #664 in Chatsworth, Ga. Weylon is survived by son, Wayne Royce Fuller, and grandson, Zachary Randall Fuller, both of Rogers; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; brothers, Otis, Aimel, Naaman, Nathan, Darrell, Cecil, Hoyt, Dale, Glen; and sister, Vida Baker. The family would like to extend special thanks to Sharon and Heather of Circle of Life Hospice. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will follow in Benton County Memorial Park.
