Ray Donald Brewer

Ray Donald (Baby Ray) Brewer, 82, of Fayetteville passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, at the V.A. Hospital in Fayetteville after a short illness. He was born Feb. 7, 1932, in Durham, Ark., to the late Clark and Helen Stewart Brewer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Air Force. Ray was of the Baptist faith. Survived by a son, Paul Brewer of Fayetteville; brother, Harold Brewer of Greenwood, Ark.; uncle, Gene Stewart of Fayetteville; aunts, Peggy Nickell and Betty Rogers of Elkins, and Thelma Glisson of Fayetteville; several cousins and several grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2014, at McCord Cemetery, with Ray Niblock officiating, under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.
