Florence Thomas Killgore Stewart, 80, of Fayetteville died Thursday, July 10, 2014, in Fayetteville. She was born May 31, 1934, in Fayetteville, Ark., the daughter of Stuart P. Thomas and Mary Rankin. She was a graduate of Fayetteville High School and the University of Arkansas. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Fayetteville and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and also The Order of The Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Killgore; second husband, Kenneth Stewart; and a son, Harold "Tom" Stewart. Survivors include her daughter, Betsy Gray and her husband, David, of Lexington, Tenn.; son, Mark Stewart and his wife, M.C., of Ayer, Mass.; three brothers, Stuart P. Thomas II and his wife, Joyce, of Springdale, Ark., Robert Louis Thomas and his wife, Gloria, of Bowling Green, Ky., William E. Thomas and his wife, Edith, of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Central United Methodist Church, with burial to follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
