Dale Bartley Satterfield

Dale Bartley Satterfield, 81, of Rogers passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014, in Rogers. He was born to the late James Louie and Rita Jane White Satterfield on Dec. 6, 1932, in Alma, Ark. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and the times he shared with his grand and great-grandchildren. A lifelong resident of NW Arkansas, he was active in the Rogers High School Alumni Association and in the Temple Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tamre Calico; and a sister, Reba Witcher, in addition to his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, June of the home; two sons, Tony (Sandy) Satterfield and Travis (Stephanie Ellis) Satterfield of Springdale; a stepson, Karl Lloyd of Rogers; two stepdaughters, Lezlye (John) O'Connor and Lynda (Tony Warren) Lloyd of Rogers; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Temple Baptist Church in Rogers. Memorials are suggested to Temple Baptist Church, 1812 S.
