Jane Maclin Gluck

Jane Maclin Gluck, age 77, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born on Oct. 16, 1936, in Hot Springs, and was a longtime resident of both Eureka Springs and Fayetteville. She is survived by her son, Gregory Gluck and wife, Jacki, of Henderson, Nev.; daughter, Lynne Gluck-Berry, of Hot Springs; her only sister, Marilyn Regina Sebourn of North Little Rock; sister-in-law, Margaret Brown of Laguna Beach, Calif., three grandchildren and her loyal dog friend, Pan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Edwin Gluck; parents, Boyd Mack Brown and Linnie Orene Smith, as well as her siblings, Jerald Mack Brown and Gary Lynn Brown. Jane lived in many places throughout her life, including Germany, the Bahamas, Lake Tahoe, and Las Vegas, but always felt most at home in the Natural State of Arkansas. She enjoyed entertaining and cooking for people, which made her a wonderful House Mother at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. She was also a lover of long car rides in the country, cooking, story-telling, history, genealogy, nature, and chocolate malted milkshakes. No services are planned.
