Bill Lee Dail Sr., 83, of Rogers died Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 30, 1931, in Vinita, Okla., to Mark and Hattie Bowerman Dail. He was a 1949 graduate of Rogers High School, was an All-State guard and is in the Mountie Hall-of-Fame. He married his high school sweetheart, Dorothea in 1950 and celebrated their 63rd anniversary. He served during the Korean conflict in the U.S. Army. He attended the U of A. For 33 years he served as a USDA meat inspector before retiring. He coached Pee-Wee football, basketball and Little League baseball for 10 years. Most importantly, he was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who loved and served the Lord. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. Survivors include his beloved wife, Dorothea Dail; brother, Charles Dail of Houston, Texas; four children, Regenia and David Bates of Bentonville, April and Wayne Warner of Rogers, Bill and Misty Dail of Bella Vista and Kim and Jay Fletcher of Pea Ridge; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. Monday, July 7 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. The funeral will be Tuesday, July 8 at 10 a.m. in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers.
