Darren Lee Jeffs, 52, of Bentonville, Ark., passed away suddenly Monday, June 30, 2014, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born April 19, 1962, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Everett LeRoy Jeffs and Dixie Lea Pinckney Jeffs. He worked at Walmart #100 in the produce department for 28 years before moving to Daisy Manufacturing where he was currently working in customer service. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was looking forward to participating in the Annual Daisy National BB Gun Championship that is scheduled this month. Darren was an avid NASCAR fan, loved motorcycles and the family dog, "Gidget." He was a faithful member of the Rogers Seventh Day Adventist Church and had recently gone on a mission trip to the Philippines. He was preceded in death by one niece, Misty Dawn Helt. Darren is survived by his precious daughter, Miranda Helberg and husband Nathaniel of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his granddaughter, Chloee Helberg; his parents, Everett and Dixie Jeffs; two brothers, Marty Jeffs and wife, Phyllis of Rogers, Tony Dean Jeffs and wife, Le of Rogers; niece, Lindsey Shanel Jeffs-Elkins and husband, Eddie; nephews, Trenton Jeffs and wife, Amy, Chad Everett Jeffs; and special friend, Glenda Helberg. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Rogers Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Ovidiu Radulescu officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rogers. Visitation will be from 1 until service time. Memorials may be made in honor of Darren Jeffs to Rogers Seventh Day Adventist Church, 301 N. 33rd St., Rogers, AR 72756.
