Lois Evelyn Montag

Lois Evelyn Montag, 88, of Fayetteville passed away Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, in Springdale. She was born June 9, 1925, in Prairie Grove to the late Edgar Guy and Martha Crawley. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Montag; and a brother, Eldon Crawley. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Chiles and husband, Gary, of Fort Smith, and Linda Ross and husband, Stan, of Tontitown; a son, Gary Montag and wife, Brenda, of Rudy; a sister, Joyce Richardson and husband, W.B., of West Fork; two sisters-in-law, Grace Terry and Flossie Montag; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel, with burial at Newberry Chapel Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren. Pallbearers will be Andy Ross, Jon Ross, Raymond Chiles, Jerry Mayer and Ralph Serrat. The family will visit with friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, Ark.
