James R. 'Jim' McNaughton

James R. "Jim" McNaughton, 72, of Rogers, passed away in his sleep and went to the Lord peacefully on Dec. 12, 2013, in his home. Jim was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and sadly, was unable to get to know his great-grandson. Jim retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years. He also worked for RCA in Alaska and retired in 2007. Survived by his wife, Sharon Bartels McNaughton, of the home; two daughters, Julie Baker of Springdale and Jody Englebrecht of Klamath Falls, Ore.; his sister, Joan Brewster of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers with Pastor Jim Keith officiating. A celebration of life for Jim will follow with a buffet lunch at the Corona Restaurant at Prairie Creek from 2 to 4 p.m. for family and friends.
