Billy Wayne Roudabush, age 50, of Fayetteville, passed away Jan. 11, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 16, 1963, in Arkansas. He was the son of Harold and Shirley Johnson Roudabush. Mr. Roudabush was a member of Rivers of Mercy Church, where he served as a youth pastor and a deacon, had served as a pastor at Brannon Mountain Church and also at Hillcrest Towers Retirement Center. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and he loved his dog, Scooter Brown. He is survived by his parents of Fayetteville; three sons: Joshua Roudabush, Jerimiah Roudabush of California, and Jacob Roudabush of Hot Springs; three daughters, Katie Roudabush of Colorado, Emily Roudabush of Florida and Sarah Roudabush of Hot Springs; one brother, Jeremy Roudabush of Fayetteville; one sister, Angie Roudabush of Fayetteville; two nieces, Julia Orta of Fayetteville and Heather Green of Missouri; and special friend and companion, Helen Maddox, of the home and an abundance of friends. Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 17, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Rivers of Mercy Church with the Rev. David Gosvener officiating under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joshua Roudabush, Johnny Deaton, Paul Cates, Cliff Blackwood, Chad Beardsley and Johnny Baker. Online condolences may be sent to www.memfuneral.com.
