Betty Broadhurst Powell

Betty M. Broadhurst Powell, 83, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville, Ark. She was born Sept. 4, 1930. Betty volunteered at Mercy Hospital for 18 years and was a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Church. Betty is survived by her husband of nine years, Charles Powell of the home; twin daughters, Roxie Morgan and husband, Jerry, of Rogers, Ark., and Sheila Kinney and husband, Scott, of Huntersville, N.C.; one sister, Martha Stumpf of St. James, Mo.; one brother, James Mayfield of Rogers, Ark.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will have a private service with placement in the mausoleum at Benton County Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
