Sheldon Blain Means, 57, of Bentonville passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Oct. 24, 1956, in Fort Smith, Ark., to Marshall Blain and Leta Mae Brown Means. Sheldon owned and operated Preferred Electric until 2008. He later worked for Industrial Electronic Supply in Springdale as a control specialist. He was a member of the Rogers Masonic Lodge #460. His hobbies were boating, fishing, horses and walking hand-in-hand with Cathy on a sunny day. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Elene Means of the home, to whom he was married for 35 years; two sons, Joel Tennyson Means and wife, Sara, of Bella Vista, and Michael Blain Means of Bentonville; his parents, Marshall Blain and Leta Mae Means of Springdale; one sister, Teresa Georgene Sandoval of Bradenton, Fla. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
