Wesley W. Eckles

Wesley W. Eckles Jr., 87, died Feb. 16, 2014, in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 15, 1926, in Beaumont, Texas, to the late Wesley W. and Edna (Szehner) Eckles Sr. Wes earned a master's degree in physics and enjoyed photography, gardening, computers and ballroom dancing. He is survived by his wife, Irma L. Eckles of West Fork; a son, Wesley W. Eckles III and wife, Eileen, of Little Rock; and two grandsons, Oliver and David; stepsons, Ken Reed of West Fork and David Reed of Farmington; stepdaughter, Sylvia Clifton of West Fork; and cousin-brother, John Carney, wife Dorothy and extended family of West Fork. A memorial will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2014, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, West Fork. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Willard Walker Hospice Home, www.wregional.com.
