Paula Elias

Paula Rosemary Elias, 68, of Bella Vista died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at her residence. She was born in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Francis and Virginia Barnes. She was a very talented artist, and an extensive world traveler. She was a homemaker, and she volunteered with the American Red Cross. She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 10 years after moving from Lawson, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents. Paula is survived by: her husband of over 50 years William J. Elias; one son, William Scott Elias and his wife Genevieve, of Pacific, Mo.; two daughters, Paulette Lake and her husband Larry, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Jennifer Ostertag and her husband Wayne, of Madison, Wis.; four sisters, Barbara Hodges, of Henderson, Tenn., Kay Daugherty and her husband Bob, of Branson, Mo., Martha Lawson and her husband Gary, of Kearney, Mo., Esther Ralston, of Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. A memorial service will be Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Unity Church of the Ozarks located in Bentonville. Memorials may be sent to Unity Church of the Ozarks.
