John Phillips

John Edward Phillips, 65, of Fayetteville died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born Dec. 28, 1948, in Wichita, Kan., the son of Beulah F. Phillips and Edward Phillips. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved spending quality time with his family. He had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, and his sister, Janet Wilkerson. John is survived by: his wife; Janie Phillips whom he married Sept. 11, 1984; two sons, Aaron Phillips of Wheeler, Abe Phillips and his wife Melanie of Rogers; two brothers, James Phillips and his wife Lou of Owasso, Okla., Mike Phillips and his wife Judy of Dardanelle, Ark., and one sister, Patricia Wilson of Tennessee.
