Michael Scott Reed

Michael Scott Reed, age 48, of Springdale, Ark., died Dec. 17, 2014, in Springdale. He was born July 12, 1966, in Clarksville, Tenn., the son of Wendell and Patricia Self Reed. He was former owner and operator of Reeds Mechanical Company. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Michael is survived by his parents of Cumberland Furnace, Tenn.; one son, Joseph Reed of Rogers, Ark.; one daughter, Mary Reed of Natchitoches, La.; one brother, Mark Reed and his wife, Lyne, of Cumberland Furnace, Tenn.; and his maternal grandmother, Mary Self of Erin, Tenn. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, from 1 until 3 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale. Funeral services will be held at Nave Funeral Home in Erin, Tenn.
