Geneva Green

Geneva Green, 83, of Springdale died Monday, Dec. 15, 2014. She was born Aug. 27, 1931, in Pauls Valley, Okla., to Lee and Olivia Welch Morrow. Geneva was a Baptist and with her husband was always involved in the Church Bus Ministry. In her later years she was a member of Berry Street Baptist Church. She was devoted to her family, and enjoyed cooking and fishing. She was preceded in death by her husband, George "Junior" Green in 1997. She is survived by three sons, Larry Green and wife, Linda, of Lincoln, George Green IV and wife, Linda, of Hindsville, John Green and wife, Charolette, of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Silent Grove Cemetery.
