Guy Mark Wann, 62, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, at his home. He was born Dec. 20, 1951, in Fayetteville to Guy and Mabel Wann. Mark grew up in Springdale, Ark., and was a graduate of Springdale High School. He graduated from the University of Arkansas where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Mark worked in commercial real estate in Atlanta, Ga., for many years. Then he moved back to Springdale, and most recently worked for the Griffin Company as a commercial real estate agent with a CCIM designation. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Springdale and the Anna Brown Sunday school class. He served on numerous church committees and the board of trustees. In addition, Mark served on the Springdale Public Facilities board and was a member of the Springdale Rotary Club. For years he was an avid duck hunter, runner and fly fisherman. He always loved the outdoors, sailing, reading and music. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Wann. Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Murphy and husband, Liam, of Fayetteville, and Elizabeth Ward and husband, Coleman, of Grapevine, Texas; three grandchildren, Connor Murphy, Alex Murphy and Caitlin Murphy; his mother, Mabel Wann of Springdale; one sister, Karen Parker and husband, Randy, of Rogers; one nephew, Scott Parker of Rogers; one niece, Carrie Parker of Rogers; and Martha Wann of Springdale. Memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Springdale, with the Rev. Judy Van Hoose officiating. A gathering of friends will be Friday from 5-7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Springdale. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Springdale Foundation, 206 W.
