Pauline Blume

Daphne Pauline Blume, age 91, of Harrison passed away Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born May 12, 1923, in Mt. Judea, Ark., to Hugh Hope and Dorothy Strong. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wilson Strong; and two sisters, Delight Strong Hall and Lou Strong VanWinkle. She is survived by her siblings, Watson Strong and Dale Strong of Harrison, and Donna Pitts of Tulsa, Okla.; two sons, Robert Blume and wife, Debbie, of Fayetteville, Ark., Paul Blume and wife, Pat, of Sherwood, Ark.; four grandchildren, Emily Davis, Katie Pizan, Andy Blume, Stirling Blume; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home in Harrison. Pastor Arliss Thrasher will officiate. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. at Coffman Funeral Home prior to the service. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
