Earl "Jack" Jackson Russell

Earl (Jack) Jackson Russell, 91, of Gravette, Ark., passed away Nov. 29, 2014, at Ozark Community Hospital, Gravette, Ark. Born March 22, 1923, in Grove, Okla., he was the son of Samuel and Nora (Henage) Russell. Jack and Clara Hayes were married May 18, 1946, in Decatur, Ark. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Jack was a farmer and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by five sisters Vera Mae Russell, Dorotha Musgrove, Ruby Musgrave, Donna Dunsmore and Phyllis Belles; two brothers Johnny and Ray Russell. Survivors include his wife Clara of the home; son James Russell of Gravette, Ark.; four grandchildren Jeff Russell, Paul Russell, Tabby Crane and Cassie Gillming; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Frances Benedict of Hayes, Kansas and Betty Thompson of San Pablo, Calif., and his brother Richard Russell of Carpenteria, Calif. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Gravette, Ark.
