Doris Jean Darossett

Doris Jean Darossett, 82, of Cedar Creek, Ark., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, in Rogers, Ark. Doris was born Feb. 26, 1932, in Blue Ball, Ark., to the late John Quinton Sr. and Ruby (Hodges) Laird. She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Darossett of Cedar Creek, Ark.; two grandsons, Nicholas Hagar of Cedar Creek, Ark., Brandon Hagar of Hillsborough, N.C.; two brothers, Joe and Jim Laird of Cedar Creek, Ark.; six nieces and nephews, Barry Laird, James Laird, Sherilyn Bennett, Tommy Laird, Michael Laird and Stephanie Reed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Darossett; her parents; and one brother, John Laird. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014, at Cedar Creek Community Church, with interment at Cedar Creek Cemetery, under the direction of Martin Funeral Home in Waldron, Ark.
