Mary Frances Faulkner

Mary Frances Kent Faulkner, age 68, of Lowell died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at her home in Lowell after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 8, 1946, in Enid, Okla., the daughter of Fred C. and Ida Mary Dow Kent. Mary worked at Springdale Public Schools for 20 years before retiring due to her illness. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Springdale Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, her grandchildren and singing in the church choir. She is survived by her husband, Clayton Faulkner of the home; one daughter, Jackie Stamps and her husband, Lonnie, of Springdale; three grandchildren, Courtney, Shelby and Riley Stamps; five sisters, Virginia, Judy, Margie, Bonnie and Jody; and four brothers, Buddy, Mike, Ronnie and Leland. At Mary's request, the funeral and burial will be a private event for immediate family only, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home. There will not be a public visitation.
