James M. "Butch" Coger, 64, Fayetteville, died July 28, 2014. Butch was born in Huntsville, Ark., Feb. 25, 1950, to Elizabeth and James Coger. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Kerns Goodman; his mother, Elizabeth Coger; his sister, Paulette Coger; and countless family and friends. Butch was a local businessman. In September 1975, The Camera Shop was established on Block Street in ‎Fayetteville, progressed to movie rentals and then to custom installation of electronics/security. Butch loved to travel, loved his pets, and had many and varied interests. He lived in Fayetteville for many years and it seemed at times as though everyone knew Butch. There will be a private family burial. A memorial service is planned for a later date. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made to the Fayetteville Animal Shelter.
