Daisy D. Beck, 92, of Siloam Springs passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. Daisy was born on July 24, 1921, in Siloam Springs, a daughter of James "Pug" Duncan and Bessie Robinson Duncan. She married Earl Albert Beck on April 26, 1972, in Tulsa, Okla., celebrating nearly 42 years of marriage. Daisy owned and operated the Professional Adjustment Bureau in Springdale for many years. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family. Daisy was a very active person who loved going places and was a member of the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale. She is survived by her husband, Earl of the home; four grandchildren, Freddie Thayer, Rocky Thayer, Charles Thayer and Dairah Thayer-Copeland; two half sisters, Jimmie Lou Corbin of Watts, Okla., and Johnnie Ware of Siloam Springs; along with numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sons, Donald Thompson, Jerry Thompson and Randy Thompson; one daughter, Judith Thompson-Thayer; and one sister, Mildred "Bunny" McJunkin. Visitation will be held at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale on Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Calvary Freewill Baptist Church on Monday, April 28, 2014, at 2 p.m. Pastor Clark Snow will officiate the service with burial being conducted at the Friendship Cemetery under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.
