Lucas N. Moore

Lucas N. Moore, 30, of Washburn, Mo., went to meet his Savior after a courageous battle with Leukemia on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Aug. 15, 1983, in Joplin, Mo. He was the owner of Alpha Counter Tops in Russellville. He was a member and attended Bible Way Holiness Church in Washburn and Parker Hill Holiness Church in Russellville. He enjoyed cattle farming and loved playing the guitar and gospel bluegrass music. He enjoyed his family and friends, and was a strong supporter of missions. He was preceded in death by a paternal grandmother, Betty Moore; and a maternal grandfather, James Carrell. Survivors include his wife, Sheri Moore; his parents, Harvey Franklin and Rebecca Jean Carrell Moore of Garfield, Ark.; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Benjamin and Tarin Moore of Depew, Okla., and Andrew Moore and Jared Moore, both of Garfield; a sister, Anna Moore of Garfield; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Franky and Marcella Parson of Washburn; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Damon and Cortnie Parson of Huntsville, Ark.; a nephew, Rylan Moore; a niece, Cailyn Parson; his paternal grandfather, Harvey Moore Sr. of Garfield; and his maternal grandmother, Shirley Carrell of Neosho, Mo. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the Parker Hill Holiness Church, officiated by the Rev. Tim Brimm and the Rev. Sam Snow. Graveside service will be at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Roller Cemetery at Washburn, Mo., by Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Active pallbearers will be Benjamin Moore, Andrew Moore, Jared Moore, Damon Parson, Justin Brandon, Matt Pruitt, Seth Pruitt and Joel Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip McCutcheon, Stephen McCutcheon, Adam Lincoln, Ben Terwilliger and Mike Collins. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the Parker Hill Holiness Church.
