Billie Eleanor Wilber, 91, of Maysville, Ark., died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Ozarks Community Hospital in Gravette, Ark. She was born on March 3, 1923, in Maysville, Ark., to James Clivia Netherton and Lydia Emma Abercombie Netherton. She married Marvin Wilber on Dec. 29, 1947. She loved to play bridge, bowl, fish, travel and garden. She found great joy in making clothes for family and was a lifelong fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Lanney Wilber. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Marvin Wilber of Maysville, Ark.; three children, Mickey Wilber (Sherry) of Raleigh, N.C., Mitchell Wilber (Jane) of Gravette, Ark., Beverly Whiteside (Leon) of Maysville, Ark.; one brother, Bruce Netherton of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Margaret Hobson of McPherson, Kan.; seven grandchildren, Kamron Whitehead, Kori Wilber, Whitny Haley, Sam Whiteside, Brian Wilber, Jon Wilber and David Wilber; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, at the Missionary Baptist Church in Maysville, with Pastor Raymond Scott and Pastor Bill Querry officiating.
