Walter Bradley Skipper

Walter "Brad" Skipper, age 55, of Rogers passed away April 12, 2014. Brad was born May 11, 1958, in Paragould, Ark. He enjoyed horticulture, science and cooking. Brad was a member of the National Association of Groundwater Specialists, National Petroleum Association and was a certified herbalist and hypnotherapist. He had a graduate degree in geophysics, with degrees also in chemistry and math. Brad enjoyed being able to teach others, also giving volunteer lectures in the Raleigh, N.C., area regarding the dangers of hidden underground storage tanks. He was also the founder of Environmental Regulatory Consultants and later H & S Consultants. Brad was preceded in death by his twin sister, who died at birth; and a daughter, Danielle Renee Skipper, who died prematurely. He is survived by his partner, Rita Shepherd; former spouse, Susan Major; and sister, Joan Watkins. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.
