Marcia Dale Powell

Marcia Dale Powell, 60, of Springdale went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2014, at Washington Regional Hospital. She was born on Aug. 25, 1953, in Little Rock, Ark., to Don S. and Margaret Lee Majors. Marcia is preceded in death by her parents. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Anthony Powell; her children, Amy Meade and her husband, Evan, of Fort Worth, Texas, Beverly Smith and her husband, Will, of Owensboro, Ky., Tony Powell and his wife, Amy, of Amarillo, Texas, and John Powell and his wife, Julia, of Ocean Springs, Miss.; two brothers, Don Majors of Roswell, Ga., and Ned Majors of Marietta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Eve, Gideon, Harper, Abby, Jacob, Stephen, Leah and Lucy; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. A celebration of Marcia's life will be at 4 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014, at University Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Ark.
